Users need only enter a project name, insert the URLs to be copied, and adjust settings as desired, including choosing how many layers of a page the program will pick up. A simple Wizard that leads you through the process of copying Web sites is a welcome touch. This freeware program's bland interface is all business. Instead of supplying a built-in browser, your stored pages can be quickly viewed in your designated browser. If you have any issues with not being able to access or edit T-spline data from your 3dm files, I’m very happy to help.HTTrack Website Copier lets you easily store and view your favorite Web sites offline. If you want to discuss privately, PM me here or email me at term, the underlying T-splines technology has been added to several Autodesk products, and can import/export files with Rhino if you need to make edits to the T-splines inside. I’m happy to work with you to keep your license working as long as possible. ![]() As I mentioned earlier in this thread, this is due to legal restrictions around the license system in use before the plugin was switched to Autodesk’s license system. There are other versions that can be moved from computer to computer. What version of the plugin are you using? There are some versions that will continue working on the same computer indefinitely but that you won’t be able to install on other computers. That said, of course we want to make it so existing customers can use it as long as possible. Given the various business and legal constraints that I’m aware of, it’s very unlikely that we will release a free version of the plugin to anyone that wants it. Thanks (!)- and ALL the VERY BEST to all here. Seems T-Splines isn’t the only thing that’s nearing end-of-life with RHINO.Īnybody developing ANYTHING new as a useful plugin? Noticed lots of other empty categories, and was just wondering. ![]() The ability to custom program a tool taking time away from Product Development has just about ZERO appeal.įood4rhino has some interesting materials there, but with -6’s extended broadening of its native material library, and related internal resources (like on-line/on-demand materials) I’m wondering about this value, too. If the tool hasn’t been developed, the toolbox is empty, and therefore of less and less value as time goes on …. I don’t care one whit (even the TINIEST one) to program custom work. With the deep devotion to all things grasshopper there, and yet the plugins written to use it being SO narrow in focus, well …. (ANYBODY in charge of cleanup over there ?) SOME good stuff remaining, but I’m wondering if this is a trend of some sort? Developers finding other outlets for their work ? Couldn’t say. The other red flag for ME is the shocking number of dead and broken links on the Food4rhino site. ![]() Since I regularly model things FAR more complex than a torus with an embellishment (wedding rings, etc.) some of the RHINO hype with its latest release and now abandoning some other plugins too, well … RHINO’s ONLY answer to that in the form of a 3rd party plugin seems was discontinued awhile back. Only problem I have is that I now need access to Parametric modeling, and FAR MORE IMPORTANTLY_CONSTRAINTS_. ![]() For instance, I’ll use RHINO for my 3D and animating (BONGO) and BricsCAD for my Shop drawings. Yeah, With ALL of my work being HIGHLY PROPRIETARY, I find handing my models to the Chinese for safe-keeping maybe a bit more problematic than most (not EVEN kidding) so ANYTHING “CLOUD” is SO FAR off my radar that its not even worth considering - no matter HOW HARD they try to push the “We’re COOL - we’re on the CLOUD” functionality, so ANYTHING Cloud-based is a NON STARTER for me, and ANYONE similarly concerned.Īs for multiple tool functionality, yeah I regularly use multiple tools. ![]()
